L'état social de l'Europe

Comparative analysis of the economic, cultural and organizational specificities of the different European Union countries

The Preamble to the ODISSEE Foundation's statutes is made up of "L'état social de la France" report, published in the Journal Officiel (2004), together with its preface by Nicolas Sarkozy. In order to expand on the diagnosis and projects set forth in the report, ODISSEE is now preparing a new report on "L'état social de l'Europe".
To understand the relationship between social ties (how to live and work together) and performance (know-how and results), ODISSEE has studied Eurostat's indicators like the divorce and unemployment rates, workdays lost to strikes, public services ratings, etc. ODISSEE would now like to go further in its analysis and is calling on the key players and observers, as well as citizens themselves, to contribute.

We need to know your vision of the present, past and future of the countries you know.
According to you, what are the strengths and weakness of each European Union country from an economic, social, cultural and government point of view ? What suggestions would you make to the different governments and citizens ?
From the information gathered, ODISSEE will then make a qualitative analysis.
Your answers are essential for us to formulate an in depth diagnosis based on the experience and analysis of players from all spheres, particular interests, and levels of knowledge.
